With 2021 slowly coming to an end and having participated in very little racing for various reasons including the lows of the COVID-19 pandemic, RBR took a decision to do something different in 2020 already.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

With many airlines grounded during a large part of 2020 and 2021 racing took somewhat of a backseat, but my brother had a lifelong plan. He always wanted to have a race car as a team owner and wanted to still be a part of motor racing. In 2020 he purchased a Polo Classic with the sole intention that we would only race it in the 2021 PE-3 Hour event. A lot of careful planning went into the car with the specific intention that it would not be built for sprint racing but rather, it would be built for endurance purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This has now been completed with only some final touches still required before we head to Que<\/s> Quab<\/s> Qau<\/s> Port Elizabeth at the end of the month where we will try and complete 3-hours of endurance racing and in so doing, make up for much of what we missed throughout the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
